For a few weeks now I have been diving into the topic of personal branding. Crucial for this was the podcast episode of Babygotbusiness with the entrepreneur Tijen Onaran, which was an eyeopener. I realized how little time I’ve spent on positioning myself, online and offline.
This ends here and now with this blog, which is partly dedicated to personal branding.

So I decided to dive into the topic, read and listen as much as possible and follow people online who are good with personal branding. I have been listening to several podcasts about career, success (and what it means to someone), creativity, self branding and personal stories.
Here are some of the questions many of these articles and podcasts raise: Who am I besides my job? How do people perceive me at events and online? What’s my personal brand? What does Nina stand for? How do I present myself online?
I’ve come to the conclusion that I haven’t invested enough time in my personal brand and that, for example, my LinkedIn activities develop solely around my job, not about my personal viewpoints and activities.
I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one struggling to position herself offline and online. This October, I’ll start sharing my learnings and write how I’m starting to develop my personal brand. Did I write a LinkedIn post? Did I make a valuable connection? Did I learn something new? What tools helped me?
Join me on this journey and let me know how you develop and work on your own personal brand. Let’s get our name out there!
